Habyt launches new flexible living space in Tanjong Pagar

Habyt has already released a brand-new accomodation space at 5 Kadayanallur Street in Tanjong Pagar. The 18-room Kada at Maxwell is the front runner space for the operator’s Habyt Flex approach, that offers a strategic expanding of the business’s product offerings past long-term co-living.

In August, Habyt Asia Pacific CEO Jonathan Wong indicated that the business was planning to add more short-term living choices to its local listing. The first real estates within the Habyt Flex concept are the 39-room Habyt Novena and the 27-room Habyt Kallang, both launched in August. Other properties under the Habyt Flex concept involve Habyt Cantonment and Owen House by Habyt.

SLA pointed out Bethesda’s solid focus on neighborhood structure and connecting people with businesses as what gave its approach the succeeding edge. The first level will feature 10 F&B offerings, whilst the second ground will certainly house a gym by Limitless, a wellness facility in partnership with Shiruki Studio, and a co-working room. Habyt’s Kada at Maxwell is on the third floor.

The site was awarded to Bethesda Medical, that sent a per month rental quote of $103,000, the third-highest proposal rate after Wan Dormitory ($160,000) and The Working Capitol ($108,240).

Kada at Maxwell will supply a range of openings, including en suite studios and two- to three-bedroom units. Each unit has a completely installed kitchenette. Visitors can book spaces on a nightly or weekly basis, with a 12-month selection even offered.

Wong states Habyt Kada at Maxwell presents the company’s commitment to redefining flexible living in Singapore and marks its change towards the upcoming phase of growth for Habyt Asia Pacific. Room rates at Kada at Maxwell is going to begin at $180 per night.

Locals of Kada at Maxwell will enjoy infinite and courtesy access to the property’s health and well-being services, such as the performance gym, cold plunge, infrared saunas, jacuzzis and foot bathrooms.

“By mixing modern benefits with the ageless beauty of a heritage building, we’re offering guests a special lifestyle journey that exceeds traditional accommodation,” adds Wong.

The versatile living space lies throughout a maintained 1920s colonial building. The three-storey building, designed by the architectural business Swan & Maclaren, was one of the earliest modernist structures in Singapore. It was developed to house the St Andrew’s Mission Hospital for Women and Children.

A public tender to lease the real estate, now taken care of by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), was launched in September 2023. The tender was evaluated based upon the bid price and the top quality of the proposed idea, and SLA urged bidders to consider inspired way of living principles.
