Final two pandemic-delayed BTO projects completed: HDB

Minister for National Development Desmond Lee has recently released the finalization of the final two pandemic-delayed projects from HDB, according to a Jan 20 launch.

Condo homeowners of Punggol Point Cove (Phase 2) have actually been getting the keys to their brand-new residence from November 2024, while key collection for Kempas Residence began in mid-January this year.

According to HDB, the finalization of Punggol Point Cove (Phase 2) notes the completion of all flats in the Punggol Point District. This includes Punggol Point Cove (Stage 1), Punggol Point Woods and Punggol Point Crown BTO projects, which were finished in 2024.

The 22 home projects featured two Shorter Waiting Time (SWT) projects, that were finished in just a waiting duration of less than three years. The SWT work, Parc Glen at Tengah and Grove Spring at Yishun, consisted of a total amount of 1,995 flats.

In 2024, HDB finished a total of 22 home projects, 17 of which were put off by the pandemic. With the exemption of one that was postponed as a result of non-pandemic causes, the remaining four home projects were accomplished promptly.

Positioned around Serangoon Roadway, Lavender Road and Boon Kheng Road, Kempas Residences BTO project has 583 units of two-room flexi, three-, four-room apartments across four residential blocks.

The final block, that was delayed by six months from its first PCD, was completed in mid-January.

Positioned throughout New Punggol Roadway, Punggol Point Cove (Stage 2) consists of 1,179 units of two-room flexi, 3-, 4- and five-room flats across 6 household blocks.
